Temporary detention facility and the penal colony № 13. Nizhny Tagil

In Sverdlovsk region members of Public Monitoring Committee who are for work there keep working.

Well today in December 18, 2013 members didn’t idle, they made several working visits to place of detention in Nizhny Tagil of Sverdlovsk region.

Aleksandr Anikin and me have inspected temporary detention facility and penitentiary № 13.

It was built up in 2009.

We talked to inmates. No complaints. Some said they even liked it here. Up to the moment detention facility is half empty. It’s very good…

After visiting detention facility we went down to the penal colony № 13. We paid special attention to works on the territory and living conditions of inmates.

Unfortunately I don’t understand why photo so dark is if the lightening was fine.

We spoke with inmates and found out that salary was 5000 rubles on the works. In fact inmates get only 1000 rubles per month. But it’s a question of another subject….

We had a look at dorm of inmates working at production. It was difficult to find drawback: plastic windows, TV-sets and linoleum. Generally normal living conditions.

Squad№17 inmates were energetic.

No complaints.

Unfortunately we couldn’t get to the penal colony № 5 but asap we will fo it for sure.

We keep working.
