Today on May 15th, 2014 members of Public Monitoring Committee of Sverdlovsk region were about to carry their public duties and inspect living conditions of detainment in correctional facility № 2 of Yekaterinburg.
After filing notification about inspection, human rights activist Vyacheslav Bashkov was attacked by officers from penal colony № 2 who without explanation applied violence towards activist (grabbed him and try to push him to the territory of sensitive facility), at the same time he was subject to senseless detention and seizure of personal stuff.
