Yesterday on August 29th, 2014 should have been court hearing upon administrative case towards member of Sverdlovsk Public Monitoring Committee — Larisa Zakharova.
Let’s us remind two days ago the same court hearing towards another member of Committee -Olga Dianova. Judge of Verkh-Isetsly regional courthouse Ekaterina Terentieva has handed down a decision to fine her 10 000 rubles for unauthorized picket.
Court hearing against Larisa Zakharova was appointed at 9:30 am. Due to traffic participants of hearing called 20 minutes in advance to secretary of Ekaterina Terentieva and asked to postpone the beginning for a while.
Having arrived at the courthouse at 9:38, participants saw judge with cup of tea in the corridor who informed them that court hearing was over and he was heading to consultations room…
What can we say here? Apparently there was no hearing at all because during 8 minutes it’s not possible to do it. We think judge didn’t want to waste time on another court hearing. What for? The decision has been made already before during trial against Olga Dianova.

During court hearing we’ve all noticed that as if judge was absent there, she was demonstrating aloofness like she knew decision in advance. While listening to Olga Dianova, judge interrupted her saying: «it is not interesting to judge». In her judgment she states that «judge treats testimony of Dianova with prejudice». Attorney gave facts under the Constitution of the Russian Federation and Federal Law -54. However judge evaluated reference to the Constitution as «artificial». Upon studying administrative materials there was information from General S. V. Khudorozhkov which was read out.
Advocacy filed a request to invite him to take part in the process for more detailed information. But judge said it was beside the point. Then following the logic and law advocacy asked to exclude these materials off the materials of the case. Judge said she would give evaluation of testimony in consultations room. More incorrect sounds statement of judge that O.Dianova had not sent notification about hunger strike in written form. But on August 6th Dianova notified the Federal Service for Execution of punishment.
Court decisions towards Olga Dianova and Larisa Zakharova will be challenged in Sverdlovsk regional court.
