Today as a part of the project “Public service of penitentiary control in the Ural Federal District” I’ve visited a convict in the penal colony № 10 who had arrived from the Central Federal District.
I want to thank heads of this colony for their knowledge of legal stuff and readiness for dialogue, because meeting with convict for legal consultations was given to me without any problems.
As usual I didn’t have to wait for 20 minutes after officers signed out a pass and walked me to room of lawyers.
I conducted legal consultation for this convict and drew up an appeal from judgement.
Exactly this way supposed to be team work with human rights defenders because we do the same job — protection of Law and Human rights.
