Today by a decision of the Sverdlovsk regional court an appeal of 45-years old former warden of the penal colony № 63 under special conditions in the Sverdlovsk region hasn’t been satisfied and his sentence -without changes. Thus, sentence of the first instance has come into force.
Let us remember that all the materials gathered by authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation have been declared by a court to be sufficient as an evidence for sentence imposition to former warden of the penal colony № 63 under special conditions in the Sverdlovsk region. He has been found guilty of committing crimes under p.»b», art.290 of the Penal Code of Russia (acceptance of a bribe in conjunction with extortion) and «v», p.5, art.290 (acceptance of a bribery on large scale).
Investigation and court have stated that in March 2011 convicted while being in office, received a bribery in the amount of 120 000 rubles for making comfortable conditions in the facility.
Besides, in May 2012 and in May 2013 a bribery divided into two parts in the amount of 300 000 rubles in the interest of a convict for assistance in release on parole. After getting the second part of a bribery, he had been caught by authorities of the Federal Service for Execution of punishment of the Sverdlovsk region.
He has been sentenced to 11 years of imprisonment at the penal colony with strict regime and fine in the amount of 24 million rubles, also deprivation of right to hold specific posts for 2 years.
